Created as part of a group project for Industrial Organizational Psychology, this building serves as the first location of the fictional company my partners and I created over the course of the Spring 2022 semester.
The idea for the company stemmed from a less than plentiful brainstorming session following the disclosure of the prompt that all companies had to relate to, Water. So how does this ugly structure relate to water?
Well, eventually we decided upon creating a rocket fuel company, and so Slippy Co. Rocket Fuel was born. The production facility pictured above, located in Cape Canaveral Florida intakes raw ocean water and through a distillation process, desalinates said water. The salt is then sold for industrial applications while the DI water then travels to a molecular separation process that separates out liquid oxygen rocket fuel from the hydrogen. These materials are then shipped the short distance to the Cape Canaveral NASA launch facility. What do you expect when you ask a bunch of engineers to design a company?
