Started during the spring of 2018 following a friends endeavor to complete a kit guitar, I took the idea as a challenge, the extent of which I had little idea of at the time. The guitar body would go untouched until returning home from school at the advent of the Covid-19 lockdown. Eventually on July 7, 2020 the guitar was complete after 28 months. It remains one of my most prized completed projects. I look forward to number two.

Design Description:
Les Paul style body with slightly oblong bottom lobe
Fender style neck - slightly thinner fretboard
This is a video taken after the initial carving (and sanding) of the body's top, using a flap disk wheel on an angle grinder. Contours mimic those of Les Paul (LP) style production guitars available from multiple companies. All measurements driven by measurement standards available online for LP style guitars, used to create the hand drawn master blueprint shown above.
