      3. Belt sander used to partially remove planer marks
      4. Surface cleaned of dust and generously coated in strong black tea
      5. Surface allowed to dry then a generous coat of vinegar containing dissolves steel wool applied (causes blackening / blueing of surface because of oxidation reaction with tannins in Oak)
      6. Surface once again sanded with belt sander (Tip: use belt sander for all sanding after blackening to avoid swirl marks from orbital)
      7. Choice of oil application then finished with polyurethane, finish sanding and wax

      Legs -

      1. Laminated Cedar to build up thickness
      2. Wipe on gray wash stain applied
